Servicing
A common question is: how often should your air conditioning be serviced?
Ideally, at least once per calendar year, if used frequently, twice. This ensures it is working at maximum efficiency.
If your system starts to take longer to cool/heat the room, starts to smell (possibly blocked filter) or is costing more to run (without energy price increases), then it may well be time for a Service.
What does a service entail?
Checking and Cleaning the air filters
Cleaning and inspecting the indoor and outdoor coils
Inspecting the condensate pump (where fitted)
Checking the thermostat works properly
Cleaning the condensate pump of dirt and debris
Visually inspecting the whole F-Gas system
Cleaning away any dust, dirt, and debris from the system
Checking the R32 Refrigerant Gas level of the AC unit
Checking and testing the electrical parts of the AC
Flushing the drainage system of the AC
